Does your 1st to 5th grader like to discover new things? Take part in unique experiences? For 80+ years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them embrace challenges and celebrate achievements. Hiking, astronomy, wood crafts, derby car racing, museums, camping on a battleship, camping on a professional baseball field...definitely not the ordinary. Learn more by joining us for ice cream and fun on Wednesday evening, September 16 from 7-8 pm at the Waban Library Center, 1608 Beacon Street. • First Pack Meeting of 2015 - Wednesday September 9
This pack meeting is at the Waban Library Center. What better way to start the new school year than attend the first Cub Scout Pack 208 meeting of the year! We will go over the year's program and have a presentation and session on the annual popcorn sales.

Please come with a check for your annual 2015 dues.

New Scouts are always welcome. If you are considering joining Pack 208 but can not make the Open House on Sept 17, you are most welcome to join us at this pack meeting.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America...
to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Cub Scouting Means "Doing"

September 2015

Parent Action Items
  • Get Excited for a new year of Cub Scouts!
  • Volunteer to organize an event of your choice.
  • Volunteer to help your den leader out.  Pick a topic you know a lot about and run a meeting.  It's a lot of fun.
  • Spend time with family.
 Core Value - Cooperation
  • Being helpful and working together with others toward a common goal. Cooperation is a key element in teamwork. Cub Scouts will gain a better understanding of the importance of supporting each other as they play games and learn new skills.
